Led Zeppelin formed in 1968. They were a rock band that consisted of John Bonham (drummer), Jimmy Page (guitarist), John Paul Jones (bassist and keyboardist), and Robert Plant (vocalist). Led Zeppelin is considered to be one of the original heavy metal groups, fusing together blues, folk, reggae, classical, pop, and funk. The band broke up after the death of John Bonham in 1980.
